OTX Systems is proud to offer OTXGIS™ Hosting for MapGuide.  The hosting infrastructure is based on VMware vSphere™ 5.  The colocation site in Canada provides good response times for customers in Canada and the United States. Four standard packages are available.  Custom packages can be accomodated by request.

Value Proposition 

OTX Systems owns and maintains the virtualization hardware, providing a unique value proposition.  Since the entire stack is owned, performance analysis of hosted MapGuide sites can be undertaken.  This would be difficult without access to the VMware performance metrics.  Appropriate tuning parameters for the virtual machine and MapGuide itself can be determined.  This helps to address performance issues before a site goes live.

Virtualization makes scale up or scale out very straightforward.  CPU and memory on a MapGuide server can be increased with a single reboot, providing painless scale up.   Cloning and load balancing of the MapGuide server virtual machine makes scale out almost effortless.

In addition, many businesses and other hosting companies now rely on VMware.  This means your MapGuide server can be moved to accomodate the changing circumstances of your business.
